Services International presented the first international
Wellness and spa exhibition WELLNESS ASIA AND SPA 2006 at Taj
Palace Hotel, New Delhi from 21st- 23rd April
2006.. The best resources and facilities of Wellness and spa
were showcased at the exhibition including new and alternative
therapies that has perfected the world over.
WELLNESS ASIA AND SPA 2006
brought together the crème de la crème of this industry under one
umbrella.
The exhibition showcased alternative
medicinal therapies, leading personal care products and main-stream
fitness industries. Mr. Khurana from Tim Pac which focussed on
figure correction, lazer, body shaping, face contouring etc...
Manjit Bhullar from Arteform showcased a 360 degree solution on spa
management, Mud packs from Nagai a Paris based company, skin
analysis and exotic range of skin care from Israel by VNS marketing
and therapies by VLCC. The exhibition also promised an on the spot
experience bringing leading players like Chivasom, Seven Palms, Remy
Laure, Blossom Kochhar, Octagona, Jiva Spa under one roof.
Wellness Asia and Spa 2006
is stated to be a major international event with strong industry
representation from various countries, in one forum. The exhibition
was for consumers as well as for industry professionals. Consumers
were given a taste of spa’s, beauty makeovers and aromatherapy
sessions.
The timing of the exhibition was
perfect with the Wellness and spa industry making strong inroads in
Indian lifestyle. Today globally the Wellness and spa industry is
worth over Rs.10.7 billion and this is the right time and place to
create India’s image as a premier Wellness and Spa destination. The
Wellness and Spa industry has been reporting an annual revenue
turnover in millions and is growing at an annual rate of 200% in the
Asia Pacific region alone for the last couple of years and is among
